My Photography Gear


The links below are products which I use for my landscape and wildlife photography. I have purchased all of these items, tested them, use them regularly and I believe in their usefulness and quality. Photography Equipment

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera - This camera has been used in all sorts of weather conditions and has never let me down. I am very pleased with the quality of the images that it produces.

Canon EF 16-35 mm f/4L IS USM Lens - When I need ultra wide-angle I switch to this lens.

Canon EF 24-70 mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens - The lens that spends most time on my camera, very versatile.

Canon EF 70-200 mm f/4L USM Lens - Lightweight and produces very sharp images.

Sigma 150-600 mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens - I use this mainly for wildlife, a fantastic lens for the price.

Canon EF 50 mm 1.8 STM Lens - The nifty fifty. Lightweight, sharp and a fantastic lens at a great price.

Canon RS-80N3 Remote Switch - Remote switch with cable.

Canon Remote Control RC-06 - Wireless remote control.

Manfrotto 055 Carbon Fibre Tripod - This tripod has served me well, it is very stable but not too heavy.

Manfrotto XPRO Magnesium Ball Head - A really nice head which supports a lot of weight.

Lee Filters 100 Deluxe Kit - Expensive but a nice kit which contains many of the Lee filters that I use.

Lee Filters 0.9 ND Soft Graduated Filter - Very useful filter for when a soft transition is required.

LEE Filters 77mm Wide Angle Adaptor Ring - Used on my 16-35 mm lens.

LEE Filters 82mm Wide Angle Adaptor Ring - Used on my 24-70 mm lens.

LEE Filters 77mm Standard Adaptor Ring - Used on my 70-200 mm lens.

Lee Lens Cap - Protects the lens when an adaptor ring is fitted.

Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II Camera Backpack - I carry a lot of equipment when out in the landscape and this bag holds it all and keeps it safe. Also has room to hold the other essentials I take with me.

Video Equipment for Creating Content

Canon EOS 200D Digital SLR Camera - Records good quality video and has stood up to a few bumps.

Rode VideoMicro Compact On Camera Microphone - Small microphone which produces really good audio.

Manfrotto PIXI EVO Mini Tripod - Really nice mini tripod.

Joby GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Tripod - Versatile mini tripod which is useful for getting certain camera angles.

Image Editing and Printing

Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom and Photoshop) - The software I use for editing my images.

Canon Pixma Pro 10s Printer - Used to print all my images, it produces excellent quality prints.

Useful Items

Sealskinz Gloves - I really like these gloves - they are warm and the trigger finger and thumb fold back to enable easy use of my camera.
