The Images

During the summer of 2025 Findlater Castle, on the North-East coast of Scotland, was used as a location for filming part of the movie “The Odyssey”. This movie was written, directed and co-produced by Christopher Nolan and stars Matt Damon in the leading role. This area has been local to me all my life and I was incredibly excited to hear that parts of The Odyssey would be filmed in my local area. Being a fan of Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon’s work made this even more exciting to me. As a local landscape and wildlife photographer I awaited the day that the area around Findlater Castle would re-open to the public when filming was complete. When that day in late July 2025 came around I spent many hours over the next four days trying to capture a set of photographs which I felt would capture the mood of the castle and surrounding landscape. I wanted my photographs to preserve this location as it was when filming of the movie was taking place. I’m delighted to have captured three photographs which I feel do this and to be able to offer them in this box set. The images are available print only and do not come mounted or framed.

I use camera equipment which captures quality high resolution images with great detail, unfortunately they cannot be displayed online in their highest quality due to website restrictions. The print you receive does not have these limitations and will show the image at its best.

The Prints

The image is produced using a Giclee printing process on high quality fine art Bright White 315gsm paper which has a bright white base and a very gentle texture. This produces an archival quality print which will retain its original colour quality for many years to come.

The box set is limited to a run of 40 and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity showing the edition number of the box set. The prints are not individually numbered.

Paper size A4. These prints are only available at this size in this box set and will not be reproduced at this size individually. The image sizes printed on this paper are:

• 1 x approximately 27cm x 15cm. This leaves a border around the image providing room to mount and frame it.

• 1 x approximately 27cm x 16cm. This leaves a border around the image providing room to mount and frame it.

• 1 x approximately 27cm x 17cm. This leaves a border around the image providing room to mount and frame it.

Each image is printed without the watermark and is hand signed at the bottom of the paper. They are supplied in a presentation box with some additional information.

Production

The entire production process of my prints is carried out by myself to ensure they are of the highest quality before being despatched to customers. I use only the highest quality fine art papers and pigment inks to produce archival quality prints.

Delivery

Orders will be processed as quickly as possible and the customer will be informed when their print has been despatched. Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery. Delivery costs will be calculated at checkout after you have entered your delivery address.
